Dogs At Stainsborough Hall

We welcome dogs at Stainsborough Hall as guests in the cottages (sorry not in the main house) and below is information that you will find helpful when deciding if to bring your pet with you.

We don't allow pets other than dogs, and to reiterate - dogs are not accepted in the Hall.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the property at no charge.

What you need to know

  • We need to know in advance if you are planning to bring a dog with you.

  • There is a £25 fee per pet per stay (excluding service dogs).

  • We do allow one dog of any size in the cottages automatically, but if you are planning to bring more than one dog, please talk to us as it may not be appropriate (depending on the size of cottage you have booked).

  • We do provide dog bowls, dark towels and eco-friendly poo bags for you to use while you are at Stainsborough Hall.

  • The patio area behind each cottage is fenced/walled to allow your dog to left off the leash.  (this was new in 2020)

  • There are two fields next to the drive which do not have animals in them and in which your dog can run freely.

  • When walking through fields that have animals in them, please do keep your dog on a leash.

Onsite Rules

  • Please make sure that your dogs have been vaccinated (sorry we can't accept puppies under six weeks old as this is a rural location), wormed and treated for fleas before you come to the property.

  • We ask that pet-owners keep their dogs off the furniture and out of bedrooms.

  • Do not leave animals unattended in the property.  We do provide a list of pubs and restaurants and local attractions that are dog-friendly so that you shouldn't need to leave them behind.

  • Please be mindful of other guests, particularly children when you are in the communal areas of the property.
