Planning a stay is much easier when you know how the house is arranged. Whether you’re organising a family celebration, a weekend away with friends or a corporate retreat, our floor plans show exactly where the bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces are located.
Stainsborough Hall sleeps up to 20 guests across 10 bedrooms and has been designed so that large groups can enjoy time together while still having plenty of space to relax.
The house is arranged over three floors, with spacious living areas on the ground floor and bedrooms across the first and second floors.
Ground Floor
The ground floor is the social heart of the house.
Here you’ll find the large dining room, where all 20 guests can eat together, alongside the spacious kitchen with everything needed for self-catering groups. The elegant drawing room provides a comfortable place to relax around the open fire, while the separate TV room offers a quieter space with comfortable seating and a log-burning stove.
The pool room is a popular place to unwind, and there are also two convenient cloakrooms on this floor.
Large windows and doors open onto the terrace and gardens, making it easy to enjoy outdoor dining during warmer months.
First Floor
The first floor contains six bedrooms, together with a mixture of bathrooms and shower rooms.
The layout has been designed to provide comfortable accommodation for families, groups of friends and multi-generational gatherings, with bedrooms spread along generous corridors to give everyone their own space.
Second Floor
The remaining four bedrooms are located on the second floor, along with an additional three bathrooms. This gives the top floor of Stainsborough Hall a very practical layout for larger groups, with plenty of bathroom space close to the bedrooms.
The second floor feels slightly more tucked away from the main living areas, making it a good choice for guests who would like a quieter part of the house. It works well for older children, families who want rooms close together, or adults who prefer a little more privacy during their stay.
Although this floor feels more peaceful, it is still only a short walk down to the main social spaces, including the kitchen, dining room, drawing room, TV room and pool room. This means guests can easily join the group downstairs, then retreat to a calmer part of the house when they want to relax.

There is plenty of room for everyone to spend time together, whether that’s sharing meals around the dining table, enjoying a film in the TV room, playing pool or simply relaxing in the drawing room.

The Main House sleeps up to 20 guests and is booked as a single exclusive-use self-catering stay.
A 5% deposit secures your booking, with a further 25% due nine months before arrival and the remaining balance due three months before your stay.
